The usual scattered foxing inherent in early American paper, a short single worm trail in the blank fore-margin of the first several leaves, else a very good copy. Second edition, with large additions and amendments. One of the first anti-slavery tracts printed in America. Anthony Benezet was a Philadelphia Quaker and, along with John Woolman, one of America's first propagandists against the African slave trade. Evans 9067; ESTC W29401.
