To the commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Department [James Monro], seeking a position for Edmund Knight. 1 page, small 8vo. Light soiling. Edmund Knight was the son of Tennyson's coachman. In his later years Tennyson relied on members of his family to help with his overwhelming correspondence.
